resolutely electronic, ambient and experimental with a techno key, küjuu delivers an exploration jerked and pulled about, meeting distance universes behind melodic songs found in first titles. percussions and harmonic beats makes travelling alongside a tumultuous path and at the same time, melancholic and & deep. sincerity and compositional skill, this ep takes mystery under an overpowering and rough deep bass made listening and elastic, propelling an evocative and ethereal line.

bond commander petter b lands on planet rhythm with a bombshell record that contains 3 staggering originals and a fierce re:axis remix. the opening effort *cc21* is a rough repetitive pacer that will definitely turn some heads. *transporter* serves as a vibey yet evolving piece of work that builds up the tension but let s go every now and then. *protoportal* is yet again a repetitive grower with a somewhat less dark build as the opening tracks. re:axis closes down with a robust rework of *transporter*. belter record.

dear wanderer, ramona is happy to present the video dead, chinaski s debut-­ep for live at robert johnson. originally hailing from the high north of germany, rostock near the rough and stormy sea, the young man with interests in 80s video-­aesthetics and vintage synthesizers is now calling offenbach his home­turf. chinaskis ep starts out with time to kill, a straight forward hypnotizing jacker directly heading to the synthesized happiness. midnight workout features a different side to the young talent sensitive placed synth harmonies packed in a vintage-­pop interlude. after a journey through more harmonious domains, night school turns the page again and picks up on those synth-waves and put ramona away from her calm drive through the midnight heat, right on the dancefloor mesmerizing analogue deep housevibes all over the place.hide society steps out of context and mixes chinaskis affection for the warmth of these marvelous synth-­sounds with trippy post-­breaking or even proto-­hiphop sounds topped off with a weird vocal sample. the title­track the video dead summons all emotional power ramona could implant into a synthesizer, the heartbeat like reduced kick-­drum and hihats floating around the track are mostly incidental or not even there for the ears. purely visual.

a day by the baltic sea. with a modulating warm summer breeze brx’s first record of his concept label baltic patterns introduces itself and its rough sound. the latitude sends you to a long build up of house patterns surfing on a subtle bassline. the longitude delivers a percussive ride including wavy chords and solid breakwaters. tell your skipper to set sail.

the head of grounded theory berlin returns to sonic groove with his strongest outing on the label to date. henning baer brings forth a rough and tough diverse four cut ep of chunky rhythmatic techno. recording the songs during live jams and using a previously decided pool of hardware this ep has a nice old school vibe. the sound production however is very much in the modern day with its well crafted mix downs. this release has strong mass appeal for the purist techno connoisseur.

following two previous appearances on the label (a collaboration with matrixxman for delft 004 and a remix of alden tyrell on 006), san francisco s vin sol makes his full solo debut on delft with the memory scan ep: four rough & ready analogue jams fizzing with the effervescent energy that has characterised the producer s output for unknown to the unknown, clone jack for daze and his own soo wavey imprint.

introducing the new vinyl only label, public system recordings, co run by matthieu foltyn and eric strykert. the first release is a split series ep from dj spider and grey people. starting off the ep, dj spider s mind field offers a percussive drum riff, warm synths, and a slight off beat rhythmic intensity that moulds together perfectly. next on spider s side is demon seed an intense journey utilizing deep stabbing kicks, delayed snares, whistling synths, and finishes with a soft subtle chant. flipping the record, grey people enters into the well familiar analogue techno spectrum. deep friday builds up with short stabbing cords, flickering snares and a spooky vocal. too much relevance is a rough acid chicago throw back. don t let this one slip!!

next up on titanic city, needs no introduction, nigel rogers aka perseus traxx has been a staple part on most record bags, a man dedicated to performance outside the box, has produced one of the greatest releases we will surely drop all year. some kind comments in our direction had to surly be returned with a request for a release and did he deliver. nigels first question was *what do you like* - *well we love your m>o>s, bunker, photic fields, snuff trax material*, he returned with a little bit of all. i am not gonna give the whole soaring pads, scraping percussive smears or the frenzied synth lines. this is perseus traxx he always delivers!! there is a rough and raw diy feel to this music that makes it jump out of the speakers and arrest your attention, as is always the case with titanic city.

the second release on fina white is a four tracker from rising barcelona producer and former rbma attendee clip! diverse releases on discomaths, classicworks, sweat taste and jd records, coupled with his signature hardware only live shows have really put clip! on the map locally and throughout europe. key to his sound is a shifting style and impressive knowledge of sound design, displayed on this brotherhood ep though four pure and unadulterated peak time cuts. there s a real menace to the bassline, low end throb and razor hats of the title track, whilst r36 showcases the fusion of sounds clip! can attain in his productions. on the flip side, forward is, surprise, a no messing, relentlessly percussive banger whilst dissonance s technique heads down an equally straight-up, rough n ready path.

the rawest, diy gospel ever resurrected. the west side of chicago was just an annex of the deep rural south for gene autry cash and his flock of recent old dominion transplants looking to cut their fiery, unadorned sounds indelibly to plastic. his jade label absorbed those god-fearing artists: family bands with wailing kids and barely amateur groups sourced from local parishes, infused with reverberations of country and western and deep soul. glinting authenticity shines from every track like a diamond in the unpolished rough—each group completely convinced that salvation comes through song.

the munich-based duo mrad is a full hardware generated techno project and delivers here the frst release of their label tuesday slump. their 3 track debut ep keeps all promises and shows us the widespread variety & full range of their work. the a side only comes as a heavy jacking bigroom foorburner. a mighty 303 bass line, hissy hihats & mechanical noises make this track to a perfect techno trip for the late night hours. resident on the b side is a rough and catchy cut whereas hazen takes us on a spaced-out excursion with its beautiful & atmospheric synths. this is raw, this is analogue, this is munich city!

haunted doorbell are timothy j. fairplay and matilda tristram who released xylophone together last year on astro lab recordings. picking up where xylophone left off unconnected thoughts on jacking is four tracks of naive melodies, rough slamjack drums, and new age atmospheres. starclash kicks off side a, with its dramatic arpeggios and sid chip crashes, techno to soundtrack the saturday night laser show at the planetarium. following is a night of adventure with its eastern scales and washy broken chorus unit hiss. on side b we have beautiful sheffield - an ode to electronic musics (possibly) most important british city and the title track rounds of the ep - house music for listening to while looking out to sea.

portion control is a british electronic and industrial band from south london. the trio of john whybrew, ian sharp and dean piavani started out experimenting with electronics in 1980. linking up with in phaze records, they released a number of cassettes and records before signing with illuminated records in 1983. there followed a series of classic 12inch singles: raise the pulse, rough justice and go-talk, which have become underground dancefloor hits. the band classifies their music style as >hard rhythmic electronics< and were a major influence on skinny puppy, front line assembly and depeche mode.

available on vinyl (limited to 200 copies, no repress). release number eight on telefonplan is an all family affair. joining mad mats & toolis team of artists is swedish producer wiz andreas saag. mr saag has taken the leap from local talk and now makes his debut on telefonplan. opening track justice is dark, deep and with a sumptuous bass to sink your teeth into. it is rough and punchy with a clever vocal sample that almost works like a chant. justice comes in two versions, for those of you who like your song instrumental we have made sure your wish is granted too, it still got enough intensity about it without losing the pulsating heaviness. on the flipside, call of yacuma could be described as a grittier and stripped down version of andreas previous local talk track in the box. it is pure simplicity and groove makes it simply irresistible. listening to these tracks it is clear mr saag has been influenced by living in berlin these past years. both justice and call of yacuma wouldnt sound out of place in a dark club with a big soundsystem late at night. just make sure you get past the bouncer while entering the club.

mystery production unit dj bmx continue their thrilling, no-nonsense adventures in the underground with the conquest of gravity ep for mil. techno-fused roller -warrior within- gets matters underway as thumping bass and ticking hi hats form the fore of the track, marching along over off-kilter bleeps and succinct glitches. the rough n ready aesthetic of the track sets the tone excellently for the ep, leading coherently into -wonders of time- where slight changes and improvisations keep your attention, with dubbed out key jabs that are matched melodically against atmospheric synth pads whirling in and out over crisp percussion clicks. -spinning across the sky- maintains the inspiration for myriad sources, cosmic, dreamy chimes are sprinkled over a tentatively used piano sequence, distorted key kicks and muddied percussion. its the only moment on the ep to include a vocal, and its used beautifully as it floats around the tracks central structure, lending it a spacious and depth-charged feel. -radim world- finishes everything off with a touch of pepe bradock style elegance - the multi-layered arrangements are fluid and dynamic, resulting in well-executed deep house.

the first ep from new japanese label “ugfy records”. a1 ‘atom tears’ and b2 ‘soul dancing’ are from the project ‘ugfy’ by tokyo based dj ‘you forgot’ and producer ‘yuji namiki’ who are hugely influence detroit techno, chicago house, beatdown and hip hop. these two tracks are with grooves for experienced listener, japanese sensitive melody and rough sounds mastered with a cassette tape. b1 ‘t.o.p. dance ###1 is abnormal track done by ‘nuboyuji namiki’. raw house!
